1. Hello, and thanks for this opportunity. First of
all, please introduce your teen club to the grown ups that read this interview.
Allright Man. Probably Latexxx Teens can be defined as a Death Club, a black
circle with degeneration in the middle, a little great army marching against
all gods. LXT was formed some years ago to delete two thousands years of (anti)human
lies. The club minds are: Mr. Icy (guitar), Plastik Poison 69 (synth & programming),
Joseph (bass), La Nuit (guitar) & Me (devil’s tongue).
2. Although you are still teenagers, Latexxx Teens
members have already history in other different bands like Draconian Order and
My Sixth Shadow. How important is it for a band like you to have different influences
in your music?
I think the different roots are most important for us, we can mix a lot of different
kind of music like punk, metal, wave, electro and so fuckin’ on…We
consider our music as something can’t be closed in simply words, we see
the past to enlarge the future. LXT are not conventional band and shall for
ever be…We’re not interestin’ on to record the same old song….
3. What bands have been your main influences, and
why?
There’re a lot of bands we consider a source of inspiration, among the
others:
Shotgun Messiah: I consider Tim Skold a fuckin’ genius, when r’n’r
is a fuckin’ parody, all hair spray & bubblegum melodies he recorded
Violent New Breed…He’s a prophet!!!
Marilyn Manson: Last r’n’r star on heart. He embodies what the words
r’n’r really mean!
Murderdolls: a perfect mix of punk, r’n’r & guitar wall of sound
The Kovenant: space metal
You can find other influences too in our music as NYDolls, Vampire Love Dolls,
Dead Boys, White Zombies, Sex Pistols, Rammstein, Amen & so fuckin’
on.
4. In February 2005 you decided to send the drumming
teen back to his mommy and replace him with a machine drummer. Why did you decided
to continue with a drumcomputer?
Alex was pissed off ‘cause there’ re some personal divergences about
the band and when was the moment to replace him, we thought that a machine drummer
was the right solution:
A machine drummer is colder, darker, harder & faster of any human, it’s
perfect for our music and you can taste the result in “MOLOKO & ULTRA-VIOLENCE”,
new LXT’s ep, it will be released early 2006.
5. Your debut EP has already came out. What is your
view on this release?
I think Latex (De)Generation is a good Ep, and even if 2 years have gone by
from recordin’ session i love it yet…Sure there’re a lot of
errors, probably we could have made it better, but it is like a son, it’s
like the first love…you can’t forget it….
6. How did the people and the press reply to this
debut?
Ohhh it was fantastic, we’ve a lot of good reviews and the copies are
now sold out, I can’t believe it, I don’t think an underground band
without fame could have this result…but it’s a long way to the top
if you wanna r’n’r and so we’re workin’ yet on new stuff!!!
7. Your band operates under a certain image. How important
is image for a band like Latexxx Teens, and why did you pick an image like this?
I think image is important for every kind of band, I read many interviews about
band don’t care about theirs image, fuck who’s like a band with
a nerd look? Maybe there’re a lot of “Wanna Be Bands”, but
there’re too a lot of bands with shity look…Our image embodies what
we’re…We’re showin’ you a piece of our soul: crazy hairs,
mascara, eye liner, white faces, zombie fashion clothes belong to our DNA…As
I said LXT are not a conventional band, the image is a fundamental aspect of
our intent: to create a world where music, images & words rape who came…
8. I also found a live section on your website. What
can a stranger expect when he will go to a live show of the Latexxx Teens?
LXT live is not a simply show, is a life experience, a psychotic theatrical
cabaret…Guitars wall of sound flirt with electro machine zeit, human feelings
& machine geist are the same thing…
9. What are the plans for the near future?
In this moment we're working on “MOLOKO & ULTRA-VIOLENCE” (Tracklist
will be released soon) and it should be release in January 2006...We're planning
some gigs in Rome too...Then Latexxx Teens have been involved in two fuckin’
cool tribute: The first one, ”Never Mind The Tribute”, is an Italian
compilation dedicated to Sex Pistols & Latexxx Teens chose to give its contribute
with a bombastic cyber-punk version of the classic tune “Anarchy In U.K.”
The second one, "I'm not just anyone - portrait of Stiv", is an homage
to Stiv “Master Of Chaos” Bators: the band chooses “Ain’t
It Fun” , The Dead Boys’ tune. In this tribute appear a lot of fuckin’
cool band, among the others Stevie Klasson , Nikki Sudden, Snatches of Pink,
The Dead Dogs (The Dogs D’ Amour, Vixen), Neil Leyton, Landslide Ladies;
the whole track-list will be released soon; the compilation will be released
on September/October 2005.
10. Thanks a lot for your time answering the questions.
If you have some final words, you can add them here.
Thanxxx you too for supporting us and for givin’ to my band a little bit
of your time, thanxxx to Industrialized Metal for visibility and to make all
this possible…Remember Heresy is the lifeblood of religions. It is faith
