DeathStars and DopeStars and what ever there name is, got some company at the glam-rock-throne. The band Latexxx Teens founded while the national black-out in 2003 in Italy by Icy X, P.P. 69 and Lex Kaos. They tried to keep pace with Shotgun Messiah, Marilyn Manson, White Zombie, Sex Pistols, Murderdolls, Dead Boys, Vampire Love Dolls and The Kovenant. After the debut ep Latex (De)Generation of 2004, which included 5 tracks, now the new cd Moloko & Ultra-Violence is coming- inspired by Modern Age Delirium.
All in all Moloko & Ultra-Violence uses comparabilitys from the glam-rock/industrial genre. Good tracks, some fine guitarriffs, many electrosynths and earwig-melodys. My favourite is definatley Saint Revolution with some dreamy appearing background melodies and the great guitarriffs. The shouts in Viral SublimiNation and the other tracks are liked too. But what surpasses this at Moloko & Ultra-Violence is the singing, even if there arent that many singing parts.
Result: Interesting CD. For every one how likes this
genre, he/she can enlarge her/his collection with this one at its best. Who
thinks DeathStars and co. are unworthy to listen to, should let all 10 fingers
from it.
